I use del.icio.us Zithromax For Sale, to archive the things I've read for later retrieval or for sharing. I use it to help manage to torrent of information coming across my desk (or phone) through email and RSS. Is zithromax safe for pregnant women, It acts like a sort of supplementary memory so can I focus on other things. And on the whole, I have been pretty happy with del.icio.us, zithromax overnight us shipping. It's always been slow and its interface has always been poor. But it had a number of advanced and rewarding features that made it the only viable option for social bookmarking (more on this later), Zithromax For Sale. Can zithromax tablet be crushed, I tried a handful of other products over the last few years and I wasn't impressed with any of them - certainly not impressed enough to go through the hassle of moving services. Until now.

I tried Ma.gnolia at least a year ago, zithromax for pneumonia. Nobody was on it. Zithromax For Sale, It was basically a pretty del.icio.us without any substantive new features or interaction improvements over its competitor. Geta a prescription online for zithromax, It was not something I would switch to. At the time Del.icio.us was still the ugly king of bookmarking. Well, zithromax before surgery is it safe, things have changed a bit in the intervening months and my assessment has changed along with them. Zithromax causing hypertension, Ma.gnolia is pretty cool after all and I have made the switch.

First of all, this change of heart is not entirely due to Ma.gnolia's own merits, Zithromax For Sale. Del.icio.us is really dropping the ball. There haven't been any new features in about a year and the site is still hideous, zithromax directions. Other social networking sites are making big strides forward and integrating their social functions into all sorts of things. Nizoral tablets with zithromax, SlideShare is a great example. Zithromax For Sale, Social networking for slideshows. Who would want that. It turns out the answer is: lots of people, zithromax tripak, including me. Cheap zithromax 1g, Well played, Rashmi. I could live with the service standing still in terms of features if solving the performance problems were the focus of the del.icio.us team's efforts, zithromax iv infiltration. But the service is obviously straining at the seams and performance has really started to suffer, Zithromax For Sale. The service was always on the edge of too damn slow, Zithromax prescribing information, but I naively assumed the Yahoo. purchase would equate to a big bump in resources. Not so, drugs related to zithromax, apparently. Zithromax given to 4 month old, They keep adding users and each user keeps adding bookmarks and tags, resulting in tons of new data. Zithromax For Sale, Wasn't that an obvious risk from the beginning. Dealing with the data and hardware issues of massive data growth seems like it would have been a clear problem from the start, zithromax for nasal staph. Perhaps other things have distracted them. Zithromax masturbation, In any case, the opportunity cost of switching services kept changing for me.

Thomas Vander Wal suggested that we all take another look at Ma.gnolia recently, zithromax z-pak india. I'm glad he did because he's right, Ma.gnolia has come a long way, Zithromax For Sale. It handles the basics like posting with a clean and useful interface. Zithromax diarrhea, It has a good personalized homepage that is great for keeping current. For me the place where Ma.gnolia really shines is how they've taken the social aspects to the next level. They assume that you have the good sense to align yourself with people who like what you like and follow topics that you follow too, zithromax combined with other tylenol. Zithromax For Sale, So the service provides groups and friend networks that aggregate your social network in a smooth and near-prescient way. I have tried to do this in del.icio.us for years but they made it so darn hard. Wellbutrin interaction with zithromax, Del.icio.us seems to have taken the attitude that they would serve up the raw data in a useful form for retooling, such as with their API, rather than going to the trouble of identifying common useful combinations of data and building them into the interface, zithromax forums dangers. Ma.gnolia has an API too, Can zithromax elevate blood pressure, but more importantly they seem to have actually looked at how people use the service (I assume) and built features that support those uses. Smart.

There are a handful of places Ma.gnolia still has work to do, Zithromax For Sale. The most obvious to me is that they barely have any support at all for working with your tags (tag gardening), zithromax animal. Del.icio.us was pretty good about this, Zithromax anti botic, and provided a handful of really useful tools: tag clusters; related tags; and a powerful tag editing interface. Hopefully they will grow those areas soon.

Over the next month or so I will be converting everything from del.icio.us to Ma.gnolia. It is surprising how many tendrils these kinds of services can have; how they get into everything from RSS to blogs to friends lists. Switching is hard. I am optimistic it will be worth it.

Thanks for the writeup, James. We’re especially happy to welcome new members who invest a lot in the web services they use, and your points about our need to grow tag management and tag usage in general are well taken.

You’re right to put your finger on the social side as our focus for finding good stuff. I’ve come to say a lot lately that we’re more interested in who is bookmarking something more than how many are bookmarking it. That said, we’re constantly looking and listening to members’ comments about how they use Ma.gnolia and how it could be better, and that is what drives about 80% of our development efforts.

I hope you’ll continue to be part of that conversation as you get to know Ma.gnolia more.
